Material flow on conveyors, chutes, or hoppers in Tanzanian industries often carries hidden metal contamination. Inline drum magnetic separators, also called inline magnetic separators, handle this problem directly. They remove iron and steel particles while the material keeps moving, preventing damage to equipment and reducing product rejection.
The separator has a cylindrical drum with strong permanent magnets inside. Material passes through the drum, and ferrous particles are attracted to its surface. Clean material continues forward while collected metal drops into a separate collection area. This keeps production uninterrupted. It works for ores, grains, powders, plastic pellets, and recycled scrap.
Installation is versatile. The separator can be fitted into existing conveyor lines, hoppers, or feed chutes. Adjusting drum speed, gap, and alignment ensures maximum metal removal without slowing production. Inline design allows it to fit where space is limited, making it ideal for mining, food processing, chemical, and recycling operations.
Maintenance is simple. The drum is easy to access for inspection and cleaning, and magnetic strength stays consistent over time. Supporting frames and housings are supplied for proper integration with plant lines.
The inline setup is particularly useful for continuous operation where stopping the line for metal removal is not an option. Each separator is tuned to actual material flow, particle size, and density, rather than generic specifications. This ensures consistent separation, protects downstream equipment, and maintains product quality for Tanzanian industries handling bulk solids.
