Handling liquids and flowing powders in Tanzanian industries often comes with hidden metal contamination that can damage pumps, valves, or downstream equipment. Magnetic filters, also called pipeline magnets, filter magnets, or trap magnets, remove ferrous particles directly from the flow without interrupting operations.
The system is installed inside a pipeline or vessel where liquid, slurry, or fine powder passes through. Strong permanent magnets inside attract iron and steel particles, holding them in place while the clean material continues downstream. Once enough metal is collected, it can be removed manually or automatically depending on the design. This works for chemicals, food liquids, water, mineral slurries, and plastic powders.
Installation is flexible. Filters can be fitted vertically or horizontally, depending on flow direction and space availability. Adjusting magnet size and strength ensures efficient capture of fine and coarse particles alike. Multi-stage or multiple filter arrangements are possible for higher flow rates or heavier contamination.
Maintenance is straightforward. Magnets are accessible for inspection and cleaning, and magnetic strength remains consistent over time. Supporting flanges, housings, and seals are provided for proper integration with pipelines or processing systems.
Tanzanian industries like food processing, chemical manufacturing, mineral processing, and plastics rely on magnetic filters to protect equipment, reduce downtime, and maintain product purity. Each system is designed based on actual flow, particle size, and process conditions rather than generic specifications, making it reliable, efficient, and practical for continuous operation.
