Processing powders, granules, or small bulk material in Tanzanian industries often brings hidden metal contamination that can harm machinery or reduce product quality. Magnetic grills, also called grill magnets, are installed where material flows freely to capture ferrous particles before they move downstream.
The grill consists of a series of magnetic bars arranged in a grid. As material passes over or through the grid, iron and steel particles are attracted to the bars and held until they can be removed. Clean material continues without interruption, keeping production smooth. It works for food grains, chemicals, plastics, minerals, and recycled scrap.
Installation is flexible. Grills can be mounted on hoppers, chutes, or conveyor feed points. Adjusting the bar spacing, height, and magnetic strength ensures maximum metal removal without slowing material flow. Multiple grids can be used for heavier contamination or finer particles.
Maintenance is straightforward. The magnetic bars are accessible for cleaning and inspection, and permanent magnets retain their strength over long periods. Supporting frames or housings are supplied to make installation secure and stable.
Tanzanian industries like food processing, chemical, plastic, and recycling rely on magnetic grills to reduce equipment wear, protect downstream machinery, and maintain product quality. Each installation is customized to match actual material flow, particle size, and contamination level rather than generic specifications, making the system reliable, efficient, and practical for continuous operation.
