Managing raw material on chutes and conveyors in Tanzanian industries often comes with hidden metal contamination. Single and double roller type magnetic separators are designed to deal with that problem directly. They work where material flows continuously, picking up iron and other ferrous particles before they reach crushers, mills, or other processing equipment.
A single roller separator has one powerful magnetic drum that attracts metal as the material passes over it. It’s compact, simple to install, and works well for light to medium contamination. Double roller separators take it further. The first roller handles bulk metal, while the second picks up smaller, residual particles. This two-stage action ensures cleaner output and reduces risk of machine damage downstream.
Installation is flexible. Rollers can be mounted on conveyor heads, chutes, or hoppers. Adjusting the roller speed and gap between the drum and material controls the separation efficiency. They work for dry bulk material like ores, grains, and plastic pellets, and can be adapted for certain wet or sticky materials as well.
Maintenance is practical. The rollers are easy to access, and the magnetic strength lasts long without frequent replacements. That means less downtime and steady production. We also supply supporting frames, housings, and drive assemblies to ensure smooth integration into existing systems.
These separators are widely used in mining, recycling, food processing, and chemical plants where contamination can reduce product quality or damage equipment. By applying the correct roller type for the material and load, operations stay safe, machines last longer, and end products meet quality requirements. Every setup is calibrated based on real flow and material conditions, not just standard specifications, making it reliable for Tanzanian industrial lines.
